I took the June 7th SAT II's for chemistry and math. I got 730 for chem and 780 for math 2c.

I'm wondering should I retake it if I want to be accepted to a school like UCLA/UCB? Would it really make a difference if I scored 10-20 points higher?

Ten or twenty points is within the error of estimation on the test's standard scoring, and thus is not worth retaking for. If you can get a more substantial boost in scores the second time, then a retake is worthwhile.

So are these scores too low for Berkeley or LA?

Those scores are probably sufficiently high already.

I agree with tokenadult, the 780 isn't even worthy of consideration to retake, and 730 is fine (trust me it's not only the score, Chemistry is known to be pretty hard, like harder than physics so getting a 750 there it's generally harder).

Your scores are perfectly acceptable. I think they're good for Berkley. If you think you can do much better in chem, maybe take it again, but I don't recommend it.

Thanks for the input, guys.
