I’m extremely conflicted. My scores I got I am happy with because they increased… but if I had scored one point higher in a subsection I would have gotten a 34.
33.25- 35 E 34 R 33M 31 S
I know I can do better in science because I’ve gotten a 35 S before (I felt really confident in it leaving… so I’m not sure what happened there). I’m not sure if it would be worth my time to retake and hope for a better score (I’m actually in an ACT prep class/tutoring group thing that I’ve already paying for, so I think that would get me there).
In addition, I haven’t taken writing since the beginning of my junior year where I scored an 8… If I did retake should I also retake the writing? (It’s attached to a 30 score)
I’m currently a senior and will be applying for a lot of full ride scholarships b/c I plan on being a vetrinarian and don’t have time for undergrad debt. I’m not sure if the 34 will make that much of a difference for it? One of the big full rides I’m going for of the students who get it, 34 is the average ACT. Anyways, thanks!
if it were me and if I were to aim for scholarship, I will retake it…
If it is lower than your practice score by more than 1 point, than you may want to retake it. If it is pretty much your practice score, you probably should focus on the essays.
