Should I retake the ACT? What score would be ideal in my case?

<p>Hi!</p>

<p>I'm a senior in high school looking to apply to Bing for fall 2012. </p>

<p>I have a 95.3 GPA and I'm in the top 10% of my class.</p>

<p>I took the SAT twice (my better score was a 1710 out of 2400/ 1160 out of 1600)</p>

<p>But then I took the ACT and got a 26 composite</p>

<p>I have a lot of extra-curricular activities </p>

<p>and a pretty well written essay</p>

<p>and I've also visited the campus.</p>

<p>I also have 3 APs under my belt (And got all 3s (I'll be taking 3 more this year))</p>

<p>So my question is:</p>

<p>Should I retake the ACT? What score would be ideal in my case so that I get an acceptance from Binghamton</p>

<p>College Board says the middle 50% of ACT scores at Binghamton is 26-30, so I’d say go for like 29+ just to be on the safe side.</p>
