<p>Junior's chance in mainly southeast schools (UMiami?)
Should I retake the ACTs again in June or am I safe?</p>

<p>Basic Info:
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Black
State: NY (Long Island)
School: Public/ URM- 6 blacks in my school at most.
GPA:
9th- 3.9 UW
10th- 4.0 UW
11th- 3.7 UW/ Roughly 4.1 W</p>

<p>IB Grades are multiplied by 1.1 for weighting btw</p>

<p>SAT Reasoning Single Sitting: N/A
SAT Reasoning Superscore: N/A
SAT IIs: Taking in June
ACT Single Sitting- 26 then 28
ACT Superscore- 29
Class Rank: School doesn't rank</p>

All honors 9th and 10th with AP World in 10th. IB Diploma Candidate for the next two years.</p>

Planning to follow an OB/GYN this summer for 2 weeks.</p>

<p>I do not answer chance threads; but I will tell you that UMiami is very SAT/ACT concious and their “magic #” seems to be close to 1300 M/V which corresponds closer to a 29…they do not superscore…so , yes, you should prob take it again</p>

<p>Do they look at certain sections verses another? ie I got a 29 in reading and a 30 in math.</p>

<p>Your stats look good. Try to bring up that ACT a tiny bit and you should be set.</p>

<p>Yes retake it and get a 29. You might get in with a 26 but why risk it when you could spend like 20 hours to make sure you get in.</p>
