Should I retake the SAT?

So I’ve taken the (new) SAT twice:
first time: 1480 - 750 math 730 CR/W
second time: 1480 - 720 math 760 CR/W

so i got the same overall and my superscore is now 1510 but I’m wondering if I should try to take it again to get over 1500 single sitting? (that was my goal) and I’m looking at claremont colleges and other pretty selective schools.

I wouldn’t. I think you’ve reached the point of diminishing returns. An extra 20 points is not going to make or break your application.

colleges dont like to see that you have taken the SAT more than 2 times. Three times is a stretch, but in college eyes, a 1510 is basically the same as a 1520. Also, the UChicago admissions officer said that they superscore anyway, so dont worry too much about one sitting scores
