Should I retake the SAT??

<p>I know the average increase in score is not very significant, but perhaps I'm not average.</p>

<p>I have taken the SAT once and got 720 CR, 740 Math, and 770 Writing.
I want to apply to some uber competitive schools like Stanford and Berkeley. </p>

<p>Should I retake the SAT? What should I do?</p>

<p>Do you really think you need to retake, people would kill to have 2230, plus you fall in the middle 50% of the two schools you listed. But hmmm, if you know that you can improve on your score then I would say retake, though if that were me I know I would have been more than happy to have had your score, but hmmm.</p>
