Should I retake the SATs?

I am graduating this fall from a florida public high school, and next year I will be attending USF (University of South Florida).

While I am excited to begin my college, I'm also beginning to regret my college choice.

Due to my unspectacular high school record (3.7 GPA - 1330 SAT) and financial restrictions, I only applied to three state schools. I was accepted at USF and UCF, but not UF.

I might end up loving USF, but in the event that I do not, I want to keep my options open.

My question is this:

If I want to apply to more competitive schools next year as a sophomore transfer, would it be advantageous for me to retake the SATs in June?

I got 1330/1600 without any kind of test prep, and without much sleep. I feel that I would score better the second time around, but I also realize that SAT is less important as a transfer student.

Programs I would like to apply for transfer to - Florida State (should have applied there to begin with), UMiami, UNC (big reach because I am out of state), Emory (1st choice, big reach, but my mother is an alumna if that makes any difference - they also have a generous loan cap program for lower financial brackets that makes it very attractive)

So maybe a higher SAT + good 1st year college GPA will be better than what I am working with now... Any advice is appreciated.

It won't matter much, although if you are certain you could jump over 200 points on the three part test (I presume 1330 is on two part) it would be worth doing. Best bet is to do very well at USF and seek transfer. If you get near a 4.0, I think Emory would be well within range.

Yes, that was two part score. I got a 660 writing score, so it was 1990 total. I think I might be able to jump 200 points, but I don't know.
