I got a 790, 760, and 720 on my first go around with Lit, USHistory, and Math1, respectively. I'm signed up for the test tomorrow to redo those three (I signed up before I knew that I would get on my first ones, and I'm pretty satisfied.) I have the option to skip it and work on more important things, but I'm not sure if those scores are good enough. I'm sending my SATII Scores to Princeton, Harvard, Stanford and a couple less prestigious schools. Are my original top two scores (760 and 790) good enough, or should I go tomorrow?

i think that they are good enough…sat scores especially sat 2 scores are never a deciding factor for admission, especially if you already have them in the 700’s… if i were you, id focus on other more important aspects of the application!!

look at it this way, to all the schools you are applying, its safe to say that there will alteast be hundreds if not thousands of applicants who have similar scores to yours…when that happens, its not a difference of 10 or 20 points on the SAT 2 that will make them give a decision in your favor…its the more subjective aspects of your app…like your essay, ECs etc…so better work on them…

Lit and US History scores are fine, but Math I is not ideal for HYPSM (regardless of your score, which is below 750 anyway). Consider taking Math II tomorrow if you know the math covered on the test.
