Hi, I am a junior and I took the SAT for the first time in March and got a 2300 (710 CR, 800 W, 790 M). I was planning on retaking the test in June to try to get a better score but now I am having second thoughts. My first choice school right now is Princeton (probably early decision app) and other top tier schools such as Columbia, Stanford, Cornell follow. I am Asian-American and ranked 1st in my class with a 4.21 GPA. Do you think that a higher SAT is worth it or should I focus on other things?

I would focus on other things. A 2300 will NOT prevent from getting into those schools.

A very simple answer: no.
A 2300 is an adequate score for top schools such as Princeton. Like the above poster, I would suggest you focus on other things such as ECs and Essays.
