<p>hi everyone, I was wondering whether or not I should take my subject tests again, or try taking different ones.
I got a 710 in us history, 710 in lit (haven't taken the AP class yet) and 640 in french (fail.. haven't done AP so not the best idea in hindsight).
I thought my 710's were okay scores to send in but CC is making me paranoid that I need 750+.
I'm looking at schools like swarthmore, so do I need to retake Lit for example, then try to score 750+ on another one?</p>
<p>Well regardless of what CC says, if you think your scores are “okay”, it means you want to do better and know you can do better right? It seems like you want better scores so study up and take another shot :)</p>

<p>if paying for the tests is an issue, then don’t retake them. personally, I’ve always thought scores in the 700s were great - though I can’t speak for specific schools’ policies. I wouldn’t stress over it too much though. just work on making sure the rest of your app is great too! :)</p>
