Should I retake?

My test scores:
Math 2: 770
Chemistry: 750

SAT #1:
CR 580
M 750
W 610 (59 MC, 9 E)

SAT #2:
CR 620
M 720
W 650 (68 MC, 7 E)

I'm a rising Senior planning to take the SAT again in October (or November?) and (possibly) the ACT in September. Is this a good idea? What do you guys think?

I'm looking at pretty top schools (not ivies, but Northwestern, WashU) and I think I'll really need to get my SAT up with only a 3.5 GPA. But even with a high SAT, ik I have a low GPA. So is it worth it to retake when I have a low shot at top schools anyway?

Currently your SAT is 1980. If you feel you can do better, retake it. Getting a higher score can only allow you to have more options to choose from.

Yes, you should retake it and focus some more on your ECs to make up for your GPA. That will raise your chances of being accepted.
