I just received my score for the March SAT, and I got a 2240. I don't think it's a bad score but I know I could do better, especially in my lowest section which was Math (700), I could see an improvement of 60-70 points. However, I just received my ACT score as well and I got a 36, so I'm not sure how necessary it is to do. I'm applying to Stanford, MIT, Caltech, UMich, UChicago, Northwestern, and maybe H/Y. Will any of these colleges want to see both scores or prefer the SAT? Will the small discrepancy between them affect their decision in any way?
