Should I retake?

<p>I took the SAT on the Saturday following the MME (A 3-day state test composed of the ACT, WorkKeys, and three random subject tests) and scored:</p>

<p>CR- 670
M- 630
W- 720</p>

<p>I honestly am not sure if I was "tested out" or if that really is the best I could do. I'm aiming for Amherst, and I know that those scores are low for that school. I would rather not retake it if I don't have to, but it's looking like I will. Any opinions?</p>

<p>Oh, I scored a 30 on the ACT if that makes any difference.</p>

<p>Any comments would be appreciated.</p>

<p>yes retake. you will need a better score for amherst. try for at least 2200.</p>
