should I send in my summer program grade/evaluation with my apps?

Sorry for the dup post. I should have posted here instead of posting it in the Parents Forum (which I already did). .

Took a 4 weeks science/lab summer course for HS students at an Ivy and received an A- and 2 great evaluation letters (no official transcript or grade give for this program) from the class instructors. Should I send them to other Ivies and colleges as a supplement recommendations and/or EC ? Any opinions if other Ivies/colleges would view me negatively since I did not select to them for the summer program?

They can't discriminate against you for not going to their program. If you recieved credit, then it is a class. Otherwise, ask the admissions office at the schools you are interested in. They will be happy to answer any questions you have, and if they're not, maybe it's not a place you want to go.

Send them in. I went to a summer program at Caltech which gave everyone two general summaries of their performance. I sent those into my colleges along with another recommendation that I got from one of the professors from the program. Don't know if they helped my admissions but they definitely didn't hurt!
