Should I send more recommendations?

<p>Okay well I have sent the required recommendations for all of my colleges (Emerson, GW, Hampshire, Pepperdine, Clark, UNC-CH) and was wondering, would it improve my chances at all if I had another (or more) teacher send another recommendation to some of the schools so that i would have sent 2 teacher rec's and 1 counselor rec? Just wonderin cuz I was thinking about doing this for some of my reach schools and some match schools just to make sure.</p>

<p>Two recs are fine, anymore than that you'll seem a little too annoying and desperate.</p>

<p>if you think the extra rec will help your application, sure, throw it in.</p>

<p>Only send the extra rec if it actually says something new about your personality and shows the adcom another side of you. Otherwise, three recs saying that you're a wonderful person isn't any better than two recs saying you're a wonderful person in the eyes of an adcom. It'd just mean papers to go through.</p>
