Should I send my ACT scores?

Hello,

I have taken the ACT with writing last october… I was the only one in my whole country to do it!

It all went great, but I completely panicked on the Science test, and only got 24. I got 33 in English, 34 in Reading and 32 in Mathematics. That's a 31 Composite.

I am an international student, and I didn't speak a word of English five years ago. So having that scores in English and Reading is just great, but I want to become an engineer, and the science section is a liability.

I have got 1970 on the SAT test, with 780 in Maths, 570 in Writing, and 620 in Critical Reading. Should I just send both scores, and add in the additional informations that, for an unknown reason, I did not do my best on the ACT Science? I'm sending to top schools only. I can't retake it since my country does not have any testing center available in December.

Thank you by advance for your answers.

Don’t send your ACT. Your 24, when converted to SAT score scale, is 1680, which is substantially lower than your 1970.

^ He/she got a 31 composite.

31 Composite is better than your 1970 (31 is equivalent to a 2060-2070 on the SAT).

Ok, so you say I should send my ACT, despite my science section correlated with my desire to become an engineer?

Ooops, my bad.

Yes.
Remember, whether you will become a good engineer or not does not depend on just one test score.

Most schools just look at composite so your 24 in Science wont even be looked at most likely
