Should I send my SAT subject test scores? PLEASE HELP!

Hello,

I received a 600 on the Math 2 lol super horrible score, I know. I just took it to take it.

Then I received a 670 on USH, which I guess is not horrible, BUT I got a 5 on the APUSH exam so I don’t want the not so good subject test score to overshadow or make my AP score look not as good, idk.

Please help! I have no idea what to do… to send or not to send?

Thanks! Let me know if you have any other questions

bump! I scored 640 on the math 2 and I’m not sure about sending it either

@lalabound haha, tough choices i know!!! hopefully someone answers

I’m hearing that you only send the subject test scores if they don’t dilute your academic profile. In other words if you got a 2100 on your SAT and are a 3.8 student with a rigorous course load then you should send your subject test scores if they are 700+.

My SAT is 1910 and i have a 3.8 gpa, would say my schedule is pretty rigorous. Should I send my scores? @albo1212

I feel like theyll dilute my profile! haha

I would think about sending your USH and consider taking the Math II again. Definitely get more opinions though… Where are you applying?

I don’t really have time to take them again because I’m a senior lol. @albo1212 I am applying to different UC schools and some privates.

I would send USH then, but get an expert opinion…

thanks for the help! @albo1212 I’ve heard that any scores above 600 should just be sent but I’m not sure, I don’t want these scores to make me look bad haha

List your schools. So that people can actually know whether they are recommended or not, and whether your score fits their criteria.

I also had really bad SAT II scores (600 Bio-M, 640 Math II). I just retook Math II today and was actually prepared. I am only sending that one because I don’t want a negative impact on my application to schools (Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Wake Forest, etc).

Did you retake today? I might retake Bio in January if I feel up to it.

You could probably take them again one last time in January.the last permitted sat subject testing date for most colleges is,if memory serves,in January.take advantage of this opportunity before it waltzes away into the dust.Practice a little and try to push your score to a 700 at least.if anything,it will only improve your chances of getting accepted.
