I already have a 5 on the AP calc bc test, and a 2240 on the SAT (740 m, 740 cr, 760 w). I feel like a 730 would not strengthen my application; should I not send them to my colleges? I’m looking at more competitive colleges, but in a math or science related major (UCLA, UCB)
mention your sat 2 math scores in your application, whats the harm in it?
If you are applying to schools that require or recommend subject tests, you will need to provide something.
However, a 730 for Math 2 is at the 55th percentile, so I would not recommend sending that score unless all scores are required. You should consider retaking after some additional preparation.
I wouldn’t worry about a 700+ on any subject test.
I completely disagree. The percentiles for most Subject Tests are depressed because few schools require/request them. The ones that do are generally the elite ones with low admissions rates anyway. As a result, the students who sit for these exams are very self selecting. No AO is going to be sitting on the floor crossreferencing scores vs. percentiles IMO.
Send the score and move on. Spend the time on polishing your essays; those will help you more than a few extra points.
I would suggest sending that- its above a 700 and will add to your application.
