Should I stay away from business if I hate economics?

Should I continue with a business degree if I don't like economics? I took economics in high school and I hated the class. I understood it perfectly fine and I got a B in the class, but I dreaded going every day because I found it boring.

As of now I am majoring in business administration. Basically I want to switch to something different in the business field. I took business electives in high school and this business administration program is pretty much review of everything I've done in those electives in high school. I'm excelling in these classes, but that is because I've done it all before. I am not learning anything new, which is why I hate it. I want to study something different in the business field.

I have always been interesting in entrepreneurship and a lot of other fields in business. However, I feel like my lack of interest in economics might hurt that. Is economics a big part of a business degree? Will I need to take a lot of those types of classes?

I'm pretty "lost" about what I'm doing right now. I have time to figure it out, but I'm trying to weigh all my options.

Discipline is enduring some hardship now for a better reward later. If the path to your dream cuts thru economics, I say muscle thru it.

It depends on where you end up going to college and the requirements they have for the major. My degree has 3 required classes, and they are just the basic and intermediate levels, so it wasn’t too bad.

I agree with the above to just take them since you’ll be able to take all the other electives you are interested in as well within the major.
