Should I stay in the same dorm for Summer B, Fall, and Spring?

Do freshmen admitted to Summer B usually stay in the same dorm the whole year? Or do they switch come fall? I am limited to dorm selection during Summer B, it kind of sucks. My cousin recommended Rawlings but that is not available during Summer B. Is the Yulee area just as good as the Broward Area? They appear to be right next to each other. Should I try for Mallory, Reid, or Yulee?

By the way, I’m going to be a computer engineering major, if it matters.

Thanks for any advice.

I emailed housing and if you want to change dorms, you either need to be out in an LLC or submit a request. If the request is granted you need to pay two fees instead of one and IMHO it just seems like more of a hassle. If you choose an LLC you automatically are assigned to Murphree area for Summer. I am deciding between aYulee for the whole year or the pre health LLC

Yeah I’m in that same situation. If you’ve already accepted the contract for all three terms, it’ll probably be easier to stick with the Yulee Area instead of loosing your initial $225 and then having to pay two more rent deposits for new contracts. If you haven’t already paid, it still might be easier to just stick with the same hall for all three. You won’t have to move in and then out and then back in again when the Fall/Spring semester kicks in. I also just called the housing office about this and they said that Yulee is pretty much all freshmen anyways. I initially wanted Broward, Rawlings, or Jennings, but Yulee is just as close to the center of campus as all these other halls and I have a pretty good feeling that it’ll be a pretty similar experience. I’m also doing an engineering major, Biomedical Engineering, and any of these dorms seem pretty close to the engineering buildings so no worries there. Anyways hope this helped
