I'll be taking APUSH this year and since I've heard many great things about AMSCO for APUSH, I was planning on getting it, but since it was published in 2010, will it lack any information that will be on the 2014 AP exam? For those who took the exam this year and used amsco, did the info given in the book correspond to the AP exam?

Bump…any ideas?

It was perfect to self-study and get an easy 5 on this year’s exam. Obviously I don’t know about 2014.

AMSCO was the bomb.

Content wise, the AMSCO should still be good. The APUSH exam will be revised in 2015, not 2014. Even then, it’s just the format of the test that changes. Most of the information should still remain useful.

Here’s the PDF of it: <a href=“U.S. History.pdf - Google Drive”>U.S. History.pdf - Google Drive;

Thank you so much!! I’ll get amsco for sure for apush then any suggestions for the SAT Subject Test on USH?

i’m taking apush right now(well, this 2013-14 school yr) and our teacher suggested we get the REA book or the AMSCO book. I’ve looked at both, and the AMSCO is better, imo.

happy studying :)

AP/SAT 2 US History direct hits in a flash. That book helped me the most but I also used AMSCO. Those two are a great combination, even for someone who is self studying.

I didn’t do my readings all year and wasn’t even going to take the APUSH exam. Bought AMSCO + Crash Course about a month and a half before the test, read through them both, and got an easy 5. The only things that could be missing from the 2010 publication are events that have happened since then (which, in terms of content on the exam, are basically nonexistent). Good luck!

I am trying Dominate AP US History- it is on ipad. i just got #1 people from the class last year told me it is good because it has videos, i don’t want to read my text and amsco both. I found notes for my textbook- american pageant and i’m going to do the dominate videos.
