Should i switch science classes?

I’m taking AP Biology but its already pretty hard and the teacher is kind of terrible. Doesn’t go over material, too fast, I’m struggling. I asked the guidance counselor out of curiosity if there was a possibility of switching classes, 1st period AP Bio to Anatomy Hon. She said yes; I have one week to decide what I want to do.

What are you planning to major in college? Honestly, I think both classes are worth taking, but in your situation, go with what you think will benefit you in the long run. I feel your pain when an AP class is difficult and the teacher is no help at all (AHEM *my former APWH class.) But, what I don’t get is that your school still allow you to switch classes considering mid-quarter is around the corner? If you decide to switch out of AP Bio, I suggest you talk to people you know who are in the 1st period Honors Anatomy class. Get a sense of how the workload is like and how the teacher tests the material. Definitely ask the teacher who’s teaching the class also!!! Best of luck

Have you already taken bio honors or regular?

What year are you in?
What sciences have you taken?

What do you want to major in in college?

If you are a senior going into STEM, then stick it out.
If you are junior who wants to major in English, switch.

As bopper said, to give you proper advice, we need to know what year you’re in, what sciences you’ve taken already, and what you hope to major in.
