I'm a transfer student who got placed into Rockoff at College Ave (a highly requested apartment for continuing students) and I feel as if College Ave is not a well suited area for me as I am not the vibrant, party type who wants to have fun every weekend. I'm just trying to focus mainly on my studies and simply hang out here and there on my free time. Also, since I got placed at Rockoff, which houses only continuing students, I feel like I would feel somewhat "secluded" compared to being at Livingston, where it's a great mixture of both upperclassmen and first year students, who are nearly or exactly on the same boat as me, if you guys get what I'm saying. I have only been to the Livingston Campus once for STAR day and while just roaming around campus, I realized it really suits my preference. I've only drove past College Ave, but I've heard from a lot of people, it's mostly for students who are interested in getting into the party scene. Any suggestions or advice?

I have no idea why they list Rockoff as College ave, its inbetween C/D and College ave, which can be extremely inconvienent. You totally could, join your graduating year’s facebook group and post that you are looking for a room swap for Livingston. I’m going to guarantee you right now you are going to only get offers from people that are in doubles. You can’t switch with freshmen from what I have heard. I’m sure there is a housing group as well I havent looked though.
