Hey, so my situation is that I had failed WRT 102 my first freshman semester and now going into the second freshmen semester I was planning on retaking the course with my first semester professor. I had failed because it was my fault not his, and he’s a great guy. But when I finally got permission to apply for the class I ended up on the waitlist in position 1. My alternative is another WRT class at the same time with a professor TBA. The risk is getting a bad professor. (Side question) Did you have a bad professor for WRT 102, if so how much did it impact your GPA assuming you passed?
Class starts in two days, so I’m not sure if I should swap or not. Or should I wait? I’m just worried the spots in the other class will be gone by then. What’s the likelihood of getting a bad professor? -to anyone who has experience with the writing department in general. Thanks for any input.
