Should I take AP Lit next year. I know it's a great class at my school, but I would get a B, as only 3 kids last semester got an A. Knowing the teacher, it would definitely be A LOT more work. My GPA would most likely stay the same, but is it worth all the work to take a fifth AP course? I don't have superb extracurriculars because I have a job and 3 AP classes and 1 Honors this year, so maybe the fifth AP would make up for it a little. Please help. Thanks.

I say do what you love and what you enjoy. Even with the extra AP there’s no guarantee you may see your dream college, admissions were super low this year. Just focus on enjoying your senior year!

Your current schedule is fine, adding in AP Lit, unless you love it, will add nothing to your application, and will be a lot of work for little to no added benefit. Four APs (two strong, two lite), 5 cores, and a total of 7 APs are just fine for almost any college. Just remember that application and essays are like an extra class first semester, so don’t overburden yourself.

Should I take AP Environmental and AP Lit? Or regular physics and AP Lit?

No and No. AP Physics C and Calc BC are a powerful pair. Leave them alone - they are two of the courses that impress schools and they like to see them. A lot.

^agree with MrMom. Your schedule is impressive as is and AP Lit wouldn’t add anything to it. If you can handle that schedule (which is very demanding), you’re set :)
