Should I take a dual enrollment class second semester of senior year?

Hey, I’m a junior trying to work out my senior schedule and I was just wondering if I should take a dual enrollment class during my second semester of my Senior or not? By that point, I would have already been accepted or rejected by the colleges I applied to.
I haven’t taken any DE classes so far but I have taken some AP ones if that changes anything.

What course? Will you be taking a course covering material that is more advanced than AP courses (e.g. more advanced math courses after single variable calculus), or college material in subjects not available as AP courses (philosophy, sociology, geology, etc.)?

If the DE course is actually at a college, then it can give you a sample of how an actual college course is run, with less supervision and progress monitoring, with greater expectation of student time management and self-motivation to stay on track.

Your grade matters to the point that you will be expected to earn a C or higher to avoid rescission of admission. Also, if you later apply to professional school (e.g. MD or JD), your college grade will be included in calculating college GPA for professional school admissions.

thank you for responding! The class is Medical Terminology, so there is no AP equivalent of it. I’m not exactly sure how difficult it is, but I do know that there is a Medical Terminology class offered at a program that is in the same building as a program that I attend. The issue is, I’m not sure if it is offered as a one semester or year-long class, so I’ll have to find that out. If it’s a one semester class, then I’ll just take it there since my senior schedule is already very busy.
