Should I take a W's?

I'm a freshmen at a community college and I got to a rough start on my education. I took 17 credits total in top of work and cross country team. I already withdraw a 5 unit class that put me on the edge of a full time student (12 units). Now, I'm debating should I withdraw my calculus class which is part of my major pre req. I"m getting a C and most likely stay there. Today is the last day of Withdrawal date so I need answer quick? Take a W and retake it or stay strong on a C?

A C is passing. Is there a particularly strong reason why you need to protect your GPA? If you have a scholarship with GPA requirements, then it might make sense to withdraw. Do you need Calc in your major? If you're an English major, you probably don't need the info in calc. If you're in a major which requires Calc for future courses, then you could consider retaking it so that you learn the material.

Take the C. I got Cs in math-related courses and I was happy to just get the class over with so I could focus my attention on material in my major and graduate on schedule. You do NOT want to repeat the class later if it's part of your major or a general ed requirement. Ditto if you're not on scholarship.
