Should I take AP Chemistry?

We are picking classes for next year and I am going to be a Jr. I am thinking about taking AP Chem but I'm not sure. Here is the classes I picked so far:

H Precal
H Physics
US History
AP Stats
English 3

The reason why I am concerned about AP Chem is that I am only taking regular chemistry right now due to a schedualing conflict. I havent had less than a 98 in that class, and I get the normal concepts completely(so far). Though I am worried most about bombing the AP class though and killing my GPA... and the fact that I'm taking Honors Physics at the same time kind of worries me too. I love Chemistry and my teacher thinks that I can do fine, but I'm still not sure. I want to be a mechanical engineer, and I am planning on taking AP Physics my senior year. Any advice? How is the usual coarse load?

AP anything shouldn’t bet that hard. Just don’t procrastinate some of my AP classmates are learning the hard way.

I think you should, I heard AP Chemistry is really fun. I can’t wait to take it next year. I’m so excited. I think you’ll do fine. Also physics can get challenging so good luck on that class too.

Solely based on the subject itself, I loved AP Chemistry. The class is why I decided to major in Chemistry. I love chemistry, and it’s actually somewhat challenging for me.

I don’t know about your honors physics, but mine is a total joke. We’ve done, like, 3-4 chapters the whole year. If you love chemistry, take AP. It sounds like you’ll be fine.
