OK.

In terms of math skills, I am above average. I am not "superbly" good but I finished Algebra 1 and 2 with a 100% average, and in geometry, I have a 104. The Algebra 2 class in my school is considered very difficult for many students, and many kids do not pass her class. Part of the reason why is the Alg 2 teacher's fast-paced teaching style, and she ends up leaving a lot of kids in the dark. Next year, this Alg 2 teacher will also be my AP Stats teacher. I did fine in her class, but I had to persevere in studying. I consider myself a very hard worker, and I am willing to spend whatever time it takes to get good grades in a class. I am willing to put much time in enhancing my math skills in the summer, as well, to prepare for pre-cal/trig class and my SAT/ACT. Do you think above-average math skills and hardwork is enough for AP stats? Although I am more of a visual learner, I can get abstract concepts once I study it enough. (I will be doing AP Calculus for sure as a senior. )
