Should I take AP Stats?

Hello,

So next year, I'm going to be a senior and I plan on majoring on business in college. So far my classes I signed up for and want to keep are:

AP Gov
AP Lit
AP Psych
Journalism
AP Biology/Physics (going to choose one)

So I'm stuck between choosing AP Env. Science, AP Stats, or AP Comp Sci.

As I will be majoring in business, I know stats is the more logical choice, but I also heard that it's not a class that is really useful? Or it's for students who want to get out of calc? (I already took calculus btw).

So should I take AP Stats?

Another option is to take both AP Bio and AP Physics, but I know that that will be a lot more work (which I am up to, however) and if I'm majoring in business, would that be unnecessary?

Thanks so much!

I am inclined to suggest you take BC before Stats.

Stat is interesting, and I would choose it over APES or Comp Sci, but it’s not like its going to give you a huge leg up in business

thank you!

any more opinions?

Statistics is critical in many disciplines – including business and marketing. Someone knowledgeable in these disciplines can quickly give you many examples of where it applies. Given your eventual career focus it’s a better choice than Computer Science.

Have you taken BC? You should take another math course (versus math elective like Stats) even if you’ve already taken AB, assuming your school offers it.

I’d recommend taking Stats, especially given your career direction.
