Should I take Calc or AP stats?

I am currently debating on my schedule for my senior year. In particular, what I should take as a math—calc or AP stats. I’m not the best at math( I rarely get bad marks, I’m just super slow) however, for my anticipated major, I would need to take either one semester of calc and one semester of stats or just two semesters of calc.

From what I heard in my school, AP stats is very doable so it would be easier to juggle stats with my other classes. It’s also credited so I can take advance stats classes (I was told advance classes is good when applying graduate school)And it’s also a college level course. Calculus on the other hand, would not be an AP it’s just a regular high school math class. My issue is that I’m not sure calculus will be worth it because college calc is way more challenging than high school calc so I don’t want to take the class than go to college only to be disappointed that my time in high school calc didn’t help me. I just don’t want to waste my time, you know?

***sorry for this being so long.

If you’re not very confident at math, taking a gentle high school introduction before you jump into the College class is likely a good idea. Even if the concepts are detailed and in-depth you’ll have an idea of the sorry of math expected, you’ll understand the basics (derivation, limits…)
