Should I take Chinese AP or IB?

Hello :) My school only offers AP course, but you can take Mandarin Chinese online. For the 3rd year, you can choose Chinese 3, Chinese 3 Pre-AP, or Chinese 3 IB. For the 4th year, you can choose Chinese 4 AP or Chinese 4 IB. I was wondering which one would be the most beneficial to take. My school doesn't have ANY IB, and I honestly don't even know how it works. All I know is that it is very rigorous (as my cousin has told me). But since this is just one IB course, should I do it?

Would I be able to do Chinese 3 IB my junior year, and then Chinese 4 AP my senior year? Or would I have to take both years of IB? If I take both years of IB, I'd probably just self-study for the AP Chinese exam (as long as IB covers most of it).

Thanks! :D

AP Chinese!

Do AP… IB is just complicated and stuff

AP because there is more chance of credit from it, plus AP exams give more units than IB exams… My university gives credit for the AP Chinese, but the only IB languages that count are Spanish HL and French HL…

95% pass rate for AP Chinese. Enough said.
