Should I take E&M?

Basically, this year I decided to take the AP Physics C course offered at my school. The first semester is mechanics, and then students are offered the choice between taking another semester of mechanics (which mostly involves practicing problems and re-learning the curriculum) or taking a semester of E&M. I preferred E&M to mechanics in my physics class last year, so I'm assuming that preference would hold this year as well. However, I am taking this class at the same time as AP Calculus BC (my first calculus class, ever) and I'm not sure whether having such a limited calculus background would be exceptionally problematic? Plus, this teacher has a pretty good track record with the mechanics AP exam, and a less-great track record with the E&M exam; if I take E&M, I risk getting lower scores on both exams. I was wondering whether anyone who's taken the class has any advice to offer in terms of whether or not to take E&M?

I took E&M concurrently with Calc BC, so I think that the calc preparation will be more than enough. I will say that I felt that E&M was by far my most difficult AP course and exam, and I gravitate toward STEM courses.

Personally, I think that spending 4 months reviewing mechanics is not the most efficient use of time, but that’s a personal choice.
