Should i take H Alg 2/Trig over the summer?

I have 10 weeks to self study(i will have about 1-2 hours a weekday and 3-4 hours a day on weekends). A summer to take Intermediate Algebra which is just like chpts 1-8 of the 16 chpts but counts as the credits. I will have a lot of friends helping me as well as tutors, websites, tests, exams, and notes from the class in high school. Would you recommend I do this? I have my own reasons for taking it which i dont want to explain, but i REALLY want to do this.

Is it doable?

i had a 99% in algebra if that helps, math is also my favorite subject O.o

algebra 1* and a 101% in geometry last semester

Hey DannyNobel, i’ve been trying to figure out the same thing. Everyone i talk to tells me it is not a good idea, but i don’t think that algebra 2 is too hard to take over a summer. If you really got a 99% in algebra, then i would guess you would be fine doing alg2 over the summer.

for clarification

the summer class at a community college is basically half of what they teach in the high school class.

Still you would be fine. I’ve been told that about half of Algebra2 is review of algebra1, so the community college class will still prepare you adequately.

do it. i did it over the summer and it wasn’t too bad at all.
