Hi CC, I am currently a freshman in highschool and I want to know if I should double up on science sophomore year. I plan on taking honors algebra II honors and pre-calc honors . In my school the pre reqs. for honors physics is Chem honors and algebra ll, which would be fulfilled. With this I would be able to take advanced topics physics and AP Chem junior year. Has any one done this in the past? Any feed back would be appreciated.
I don’t understand, are you going to take algebra 2 as a sophomore or are you taking it as a freshman?
Also, if you want to know if it’s doable to take those two classes together you would be better served by asking seniors or juniors at your school who have taken both courses at the same time. Different schools teach classes differently so people who don’t go to your school can not answer your question without more information.
It is doable and I will be taking algebra 2 honors and pre-calc honors my sophomore year.(currently taking geometry honors)
