Should I take Honors Physics or Dual Enrollment Bio as a junior?

Hi, please help me! I have to make a decision soon and these are my only two options. My schedule is
-English 10
-Regents Precalculus
-AP US History
-AP Chemistry
-Spanish IV
and I am trying to choose between DE Bio or Physics for my last period.

I plan to major in business so neither of these classes have that much effect on me but they are my only two options for this year. I actually wanted to skip Honors Physics because I plan to take AP Physics C next year. I’m leaning more towards taking DE Bio right now because its more college level, and it might reflect that I’m trying to purse more rigorous courses. However, I know that many top colleges love to see people taking Physics junior year.

Please, please help me and tell me what you think! Thanks for reading!

AP Physics C should not be your first high school physics course.

Physics at my school is actually really easy according to everyone who took it and the only AP physics class that is offered is AP Physics C. There are also a couple of people in my grade who are taking AP Calc and AP Physics C at the same time and they are never going to take Physics.

AP Physics C is the second physics class and requires a calculus class as a prerequisite or co-requisite.

Many colleges love to see physics. They don’t care when you take it. Is AP Physics C Mech and E&M or just Mech? Mech might be doable with no prior physics course, if that’s the norm for the school; E&M will be a challenge for the STEM-y people without a prior physics course. For a potential business major, AP Physics C may be overkill for you as it is usually the potential engineers/CS Majors/Physics majors that take this.

It is both Mech and E&M. Do you suggest that I take physics instead of DE Bio then?

I’d suggest physics in lieu of AP Physics. If you take physics as a junior and DE as a senior or vice versa is up to you. Taking DE Bio as a junior, depending on your school’s weighting and assuming you got an A in either class, may be more beneficial for your GPA for college applications, but I don’t know your school’s grading

ok thank you guys so much! I will be taking physics
