Should I take Spanish 3 online?

I am currently a junior and what I was planning to do is to take Spanish 3 normally in the classroom but it conflicts with my AP World History class. Both classes fall in 6th hour and there are no other hours to take the classes. I chose AP World instead of Spanish because I could get college credit and I feel like it looks generally better (whether or not this is true, please tell me!) I have an opportunity to take it online (a couple of other people are doing that) but I had a friend that took French online and it killed her GPA. She’s a really good student overall and had a 4.0 before getting a D in that class. I’m just really scared that that could be me. I already have 3 years of language (In my school, our 8th grade Spanish classes count as a credit) and that’s another reason why I chose AP World instead of Spanish 3. But I wanted to know other peoples opinion about the subject. I am already taking AP Psychology online and I don’t know if I could do 2 online classes. Which is another thing to think about. I welcome any opinions!

This is what my schedule looks like right now

American Literature (Advanced English College Class)
Media Center Aid (Kind of like a library assistant. Help kids with tutoring)
AP Psychology Online
Chemistry
Algebra 2
AP World History

If I were to take Spanish online, I would replace my 2nd hour, the Media Center Aide one.

I’m a sophomore currently taking Spanish 3 Honors online. Honestly, it just depends on the program you’re using to take the subject - for example, many students at my school who take online courses flunk in the Virtual Virginia program because it takes a lot of self studying and care. The program I’m in, though, called Edgenuity, puts everyone at the same pace. So, talk to your guidance counselor about the program/professor and then research it. You never know, what’s bad for a 4.0 student may be perfect for you. Also, if I were you, I’d take Spanish 3 and get it over with junior year because many colleges have a 3 year foreign language requirement, and in the state of Virginia, to earn an advanced diploma students have to take 3 years of one foreign language or two years of two languages; it may be the same for your state, I don’t know. Good luck!
