Should I take the ACT?

<p>I have taken the SAT 2x and I am not getting the score I want. (However, it's also true that aside from taking an SAT prep course last summer I haven't studied for it.)</p>

<p>Should I take the ACT? I'm more of a science person, so that might help my score. But the problem is I'm not a very quick thinker so I might linger a bit. </p>

<p>Should I take the ACT or should I just study and take the SAT? I think there is a chance for me to improve.</p>

<p>Take some practice tests of each, and figure out which you tend to score better on. (And it will have the added benefit of making your scores go up should you retake the SAT.) Some people do better naturally on one test or the other.</p>
