Should I take the ACT?

<p>Hey there people of CC.
So I have a question; should I take the ACT? I recently took the SAT and got a good score (2300). Some people were telling me to take the ACT as well. Should I? My school offers an ACT without writing for free, but if I was going to take it I have to take it with writing (for the good schools). Would it help me in any way if I took it? Or should just not waste my time?</p>

<p>Unless you are positive you will score a 35 or 36 there is really no point to taking it. What is your SAT score out of 1600?</p>

<p>It was 1540…I feel like I could have scored higher on reading but Im definetly not taking the SAT again. (M:800…CR:740)</p>
