Should I take the January SAT?

I am a Junior in High School.
I want to get into the University of Miami, that accepts students with a 1400+ CR and Math.

I took the SAT in November and scored a 1610, with a 600 in W.
I took the SAT in December and scored a 1710.

When Superscored, My score is a 1730 on the SAT.

Should I now take the SAT on January 25th? I want an 1800+ on the January test date, Is it possible? I have this Winter Break and some time in January to study.

Currently I have a 1130 score for CR and Math only.

Thanks for your help!

My advice is that you should wait until you are fully prepared for the SAT. You have already taken the SAT twice. Colleges honestly don’t like it when you take the SAT a lot of times. Instead of rushing to take the SAT, take a couple of months to study and to get ready.

This is just my thoughts. Other people might think differently.

Hawkace is right. You’re still a junior. You have until November of your senior year to get the score you want. Take the time to study and study hard.

Hypothetically Speaking, say I take the January SAT and score an 1800, or… 1810 on it, and then I take the June SAT and get a 1950 on it.

Will Colleges look at all these failed attempts negatively? I mean at that point it would have been like my fourth time.
