Should I take the New SAT (Current Junior)?

I scored a 33 composite on the ACT (I took this test thrice, so done with it) and I scored a 2200 on the old SAT.

My real goal is to go to UT-Austin McComb’s business school with some nice scholarships!

Their 40 Acres Scholarship is REALLY competitive and I would do anything for it.

Their average ACT was a 34 and average SAT was a 1489/1600 for the class of 2020 Finalists.

Should I bother taking another SAT to compete for this award!?

Here are the rest of my stats:

ACT: 33C, just took ACT again today thinking 34.
SAT: 2200
GPA: 4.0UW , 4.5 W good increasing trend
RANK: 18/423 is reported on transcripts
Taking only honors/ap classes this year, had one regular class last year because there was no honors version of a foreign lang year one.
ECs: I work with my sister at her small business, co-founded/co-president of computer sci club, president and founding father of Gay Straight Alliance at my conservative republican school in Texas(big deal here, my club has been protested twice). Member of NHS, volunteered as an intern at JDRF, Silver Medal in National Latin Exam, Honors in the National Spanish Exam, Consistent Chemistry tutoring(Ap chem students tutor Preap), formed a dev team within my CS club that contributed a project to our school district.
Demographics: lgbt white male from TX junior at a public high school. income >175000
Recs: Chem teacher I had for 2 years, she loves me. 7.5/10
PreCalc teacher that has known my family for ever 8/10

You have a great ACT score, but if you like take a new sat practice test on khan academy. why do u need a scholarship if your family makes over 175,000?

I have 2 siblings in college and parents are nearing retirement age, so I want to relieve the financial burden a bit! Also living in Austin is pretty expensive. @itshalimathenerd

@merelyaboveavg aww retake the ACT maybe study a little bit, u being an lgbtq male may be a hook. sry to stereotype but it may be a disadvantage in texas, try the ucs is ur willing to go out of state
