So I am planning on taking the SAT japanese in november as a non native speaker (im not japanese), and on the practice test in the blue book I got a 740 (dumb mistakes, I could probably do 760+)
My question is, for a non native speaker, what would be a good score on this test to colleges? Would anything below a 800 be useless for me or even hurt my application? Asking because of the skewed scores on language tests towards native speakers.

No, since 70% of the test takers for this test are heritage/native speakers, a good score will not hurt you.
