Hi! I’m a high school senior who has taken the SAT three times (twice my junior year, once in my senior year). Right now I have a 2120- 800 critical reading, 730 writing, 590 math. Should I take the SAT again to try and bump my math score up a bit? I only want to raise my math to a 620, and I want to try and hit 800 on writing. I’ve already been accepted to one school (Liberty university), but I’m looking at more competitive schools, and am worried that my math score might hinder me. Should I take the SAT again to try and improve my math score? Or are my critical reading/writing scores good enough to make colleges overlook the fact that I’m bad at math?
800 on CR! That’s so amazing!! Since most schools look at CR&Math rather than WR score, maybe you should try to pull your math score up to 650 if you can? Btw, Liberty is also a pretty nice school with amazing faculties and campus!
Do you think you Can do better in math? Or just hope it?
Honestly, after three tries, and especially during your senior year, I would say you should just send the scores you have and work on your essays, etc.
