So my superscore is 2260 and highest single test is 2200, so idk if I should take it again because apparently taking it more than 4 times is not optimal? ... what do.

I mean your scores are already high enough… I think you should be fine unless you can get a 2400 on your 4th time…

i don’t think it isn’t optimal for a 4th time unless the college asks for all SAT scores or your score has them on your transcript…

yeah i’m applying to columbia, carnegie mellon, and upenn and they require all scores :X

o then yeah if you can get a 2400 take it again… if not then don’t

but if i were you i would just not retake it

doesn’t seem like u increased on ur 3rd time which will look a bit worse

Don’t retake. Unless you really think these scores do not reflect your actual potential, do. not. retake. There comes a point where one’s scores plateau and it just isn’t worth retaking.

I think you need to decide whether it’s better to be the confident guy with a 2200 or the insecure guy with a possibly higher score. Not saying either is better, but that’s what it boils down to imo.

I say stop. Your superscore is good enough. It is very unlikely that you will improve your score.

thanks guys! I also am an Asian-American which plays into it as well
