Hi, I'm a sophomore at my high school and I took an SAT program over the summer. My current scores are usually around 1900-2000. The October SAT is coming up, so I'm wondering if I should take the SAT this time around. Will my score be shown to colleges? I'm going to take it again junior year to get a higher score; this time I just want to gain experience for it. If it does show on my record to colleges, will they hold it against me?

Colleges will, for the most part, only consider your highest single score or, at some schools, your superscore. As long as you don’t end up taking it too many times you should be fine.
