Should I take the SAT?

<p>I already took the ACT, and I received a 33. I'm confident that I could do reasonably good on the SAT, but I don't know if I could get a score that would be "equivalent" to a 33. Almost all schools, even Ivies, accept the ACT by itself, but is not taking the SAT going to hurt my chances of admission?</p>

<p>No, if they say they accept the ACT instead of the SAT, then it's fine to just submit the ACT.</p>

<p>No. A 33 ACT is not going to hurt your chances anywhere. You can get into great schools by just sending that in alone.</p>

<p>If the schools you're looking at require SAT IIs (even with the ACT w/ writing), focus your energy there.</p>
