<p>I will be taking the ACT in April for sure, since it is free provided by the school. However, I was thinking about taking the ACT in December. How important is it that I include the writing portion? Thanks.</p>
<p>Many schools require that you take the ACT with writing, so might as well (unless you’re sure the schools you are applying to don’t care.) </p>
<p>The writing is at the end of the test, so it won’t screw the rest of the test up like the SAT does</p>
