Currently I am at a big football school in the south ranked in the top 25 public universities. I am 11 hours from my family so it is very hard for me to see them and since I was so close to them I miss them a lot. Also, I don't like the big class sizes here and I feel as if my advisers don't care about me. Everyone's families always come for football games and people tailgate with their families and I have nowhere to go. I thought I would like a big school, but now that I'm here I think I would do better in a smaller setting. Also, all the girls here are in sororities and I decided not to rush so I am also left out in that area. Everyone parties a lot so when I feel like staying in on weekends I feel as though I have to go out. I have joined clubs and attend them, but I still don't believe it is the right fit. I'm also scared to tell my parents this because I was in love with this school before I came here and I don't want to disappoint them.
How do you think I should tell my parents and also is the burden of transferring worth it?
