Should I transfer from Smith?

So, I'm a sophomore at Smith College, majoring in history and econ (looking at law, if it counts for anything). I've done really well in all my classes, but keep getting the impression that even though the work is just as heavy as "name brand" schools, nobody has heard of Smith - that the work almost isn't worthwhile. No employers or grad programs have heard of it. Back in high school I'd turned down some more 'prestigious' places because I wanted the small, LAC, women's college experience - and now that feels like a mistake. I can get really good financial aid anywhere, so that isn't a problem.... Am I just being shallow, or should I seriously look into transferring?
Thanks. <3

If you’re happy with your college experience, then there’s no need to transfer. A lot of people HAVE heard of Smith- it might just be the people you’ve talked to that haven’t.

Name recognition matters less than fit. If you’re happy, then stay.

Every single law school, med school, and grad school in the country has heard of Smith. Don’t worry about this.

Transfer. You’re in a women’s college. Need I say more?..and this is coming from someone who also attends a women’s college, btw.
