Should I transfer to Rutgers Brunswick or Baruch in NYC? (Price is a factor)

I spent my last two college years in a local community college in NJ, my average is about a 3.6 and my high school gpa was a 3.4. Now, I can use my families New york address can get the in-state tuition for Baruch, meaning that price-wise, it is MUCH cheaper than Rutgers.

However, I am not too sure how it measures up name wise. Rutgers is a very well known school, and I believe I would have much more fun there. However, I am going to be paying off my loans. If I go with Baruch I would have much less debt when I graduate, however I'm not sure how good the school is. I've looked up some forums about it and most of the students seem miserable or just "satisfied" with the school saying "you get what you pay for" and such.

Now Rutgers is very well known, however Baruch is a school right in the middle of NYC, and from what I've been told that holds a lot of weight when it comes to job interviews in the city. I'm still very lost as to which school to choose and with deadlines closing in fast I need to make a choice soon.

Anybody have personal experiences similar to mine and can offer some help in making the right choice with some reasons why as well? Thank you

Also post this on the College Search & Selection forum as you will get more views there.
